Prof. Michael Manfra was announced as the 2021 Arden L. Bement Jr. Award recipient in Purdue News press release, Three professors to receive Purdue’s most prestigious research awards. He is being recognized for a 2020 landmark experiment, conducted by Prof. Manfra and his research team, that found evidence for fractional statistics of quasiparticles called anyons.
