Rose started her role as a nanofabrication engineer at Microsoft Station Q Purdue in June of 2019. She received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2017. Her graduate and postdoctoral research focused on the development and fabrication of 2D nanomaterial-based field-effect transistors, and their application in the detection of heavy metal ions and bacteria in water.
