Office: Birck 2027A
Dr. Mustafa Mert Torunbalci received his Ph.D. from Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2015. His Ph.D. research concerned the development of novel wafer level fabrication and hermetic packaging platforms for MEMS inertial sensors. From 2015 to 2020, he was a post-doctoral researcher working with Prof. Sunil Bhave in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. In his post-doctoral work, he developed microwave MEMS circulators, Giant Optomechanical Bulk-micromachined Light Induced Transducers (GOBLITs), and magnetoelectric MEMS transducers. In January 2020, Dr. Torunbalci joined Microsoft Quantum Purdue as a quantum device nanofabrication researcher.
