Ruichen joined Professor Manfra’s group as part of Microsoft Quantum Purdue in September of 2021. In 2018, Ruichen obtained his PhD in silicon quantum devices from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He then served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the National Institute of Standards and Technology at Boulder, Colorado. His research portfolio covers design, fabrication, and measurement of scalable qubit systems constructed by superconducting circuits and semiconductor quantum dots. Currently, Dr. Zhao is leading the low-temperature device characterization effort at Microsoft Quantum Purdue.
