Research team under Prof. Michael Manfra is the subject of Purdue News press release, Researchers at Purdue demonstrate bulk-edge coupling of anyons. They are being recognized for recent Nature Communications publication, Impact of bulk-edge coupling on observation of anyonic braiding statistics in quantum Hall interferometers. The new publication provides confirmation for their 2020 work, observing evidence for fractional statistics of anyons, but more importantly, it explores the physics of anyons through rational design and control of interferometers.
